What are the functions of the sacral chakra?
This chakra determines our creativity, sexuality, and fertility skills. When we use these skills, we release one of the happy hormones, endorphins. When we enjoy life, the pituitary gland in our brain secretes endorphins.
The sacral chakra is part of our energy production and storage system, located in the abdomen and originally managed by our Dantien chakra. We use this system to generate energy every moment we live in.
The size of the energy we generate within us determines our passion size. Our passions also determine our choices in life. When we choose our career or shape our social and individual relationships, we reveal this energy within us.

How do we know if our sacral chakra is in balance?
This chakra also governs our sense of taste. When the chakra is in balance, our sense of taste works fine. We follow our passions and enjoy life in every sense. We accept ourselves with all our being.

When the chakra is out of balance, our sense of taste in life may be damaged; if we cannot secrete endorphins at the end of the stress we experience, we find it difficult to make new beginnings.
